Vehicle Safety, Maintenance & Inspection

How Zantray documents vehicle condition and helps renters complete a careful handoff.

Quick answer

Every customer should inspect the assigned vehicle with staff before taking the keys. The inspection record—not a generic model description—is the source of truth for that rental.

Handoff inspection

Check tires, spare tire, jack, lights, horn, mirrors, glass, seat belts, air conditioning, fuel, mileage and visible body condition. Photograph the vehicle and make sure existing marks appear on the handoff record.

During the rental

Stop driving if a warning light, unusual sound, tire problem or other condition makes continued travel unsafe. Contact Zantray using the number in the reservation confirmation. Emergency and roadside response can vary by location, so do not make assumptions that are absent from the signed agreement.
